Tucked in the island's cultural heart, near the World Heritage 500 AD Sigiriya rock fortress, the new 33 room resort will steep guests in natural wonder, in a pocket of biophilic design set within an ancient forest. Luxe tree pods connected by canopy walks will dot the forest at various heights, overlooking the lake and mountains.
The interior design will pull guests back to the era of Victorian explorers of old Ceylon when they first discovered the hidden ancient Buddhist Civilization in the 1890's.
